World of Warcraft Philippines
I’d been waiting for years for the most popular MMORPG in the planet to come to the Philippines and offer them based on our economic context. Yup, 15 dollars or so a month for us is a bit taxing… and even if you could afford it, your friends wouldn’t be able to (not everyone has credit cards here and they don’t just sell game time cards from any of the sari-sari stores btw.) Plus, it’s really hard to play alone on your neighborhood.
So last year or so I tried playing on alternative private servers. I found a lot that’s pretty messed up and quite a few modestly functional private servers. Of which one of them is wowscape, but they wiped out a lot of the high level characters just a couple months back which made us think of looking for some other place to play on…
After quite a while of looking for another place (and I can search quite well, believe me) I’ve found the perfect (ok, its at least the most decent) place where me and my friends could play the game for free, least bugged, constantly updated (weekly basis) and most especially rates aren’t messed up. That is if you’re looking to play the quest the official retail World of Warcraft is played, like most of us. You could find the game site and the instructions as to how to join on their website:
